What is Felting?
There are 2 main types of felting: needle felting and wet felting.
Needle Felting
Needle Felting is an art form that involves using a barbed felting need to shape 2D or 3D shapes. It's basically sculpting with wool! You'll learn to needle felting in our felting course included in this bundle!

Wet Felting
Wet felting is another felting method that doesn't involve needles to shape the wool. Instead wet felting uses soap water and agitation to matte fibres to create 2D or 3D shapes.
Wool is Environmentally Friendly
All of the Magic Trout Imaginarium’s felting kits use Corriedale wool. Our wool is sustainably sourced wool from Ashford in New Zealand, colored with natural non-toxic dyes.
